Reunion is just another word for PARTY!!!

For as long as I can remember my family has gone to a big reunion over the Independence Day Holiday. This has been an event that I have always looked forward to. Whats not to like? Nature, good. Grandparents, good. Cousins, GOOOOOD!! This year I was expecting to have to miss the reunion but thanks to awesome parents and a conveniently placed July birthday lil'guy and I found ourselves in the company of trees, aunts and adventure.
Over the course of four days we all had a lovely time playing cards, laughing and enjoying the scenery. Here is my littlest sister with her beloved, being over come with joy at the beautiful prospect. Not to shabby? Bet you''ll put your name in for the next reunion.
We had a few adventures while camping. A group of us decided to try out the local scene. Bumper boats were the common consensus and hence we waited in line. And waited and waited. Some took the time to get to know their cousins better. Then entertained themselves with their Grandma's sunglasses. Thanks Buckabooe!
When we finally got on the bumper boats, it was a heap of fun. Lil'guy didn't really appreciate getting wet but such is life. He just held on for all he was worth and cracked a smile or two. Afterwards there were water guns at our disposal and we made the best of them. Starting a huge water fight and drenching many, including patrons not of relation. They may not want our gang back there any time soon. Got to love the memories. I am sure they we never forget it. On the last day of the reunion, on our way home, the "BIG C" group stopped off for a bite and to celebrate the birth of the littlest sister. Say Cheese! When we returned to the family homeland we still had time to be together and went on more adventures to entertain the little ones. What could be in there that is intriguing some many children? What indeed.Oh yes, FISH what else could be so captivating. Look Lil'guy there are some big ones. A day at the beach is all that anyone could ask for and so as a last activity the beach is where we all found our selves. Here are the parental ones showing us all how it is done. Lil'guy grasped the concept rather quickly. What better way to enjoy the sand than to share it with a new found friend. Here is Lil'guy trying to put as much sand as possible, on the littlest sister's baby. They will so miss us!Who says you can't lounge in the water. Making the example an art form. Lil'guy getting the hang of this lake thing. Just the two of us watching over the chillen while they play and splash in the cool ripples. Child control is a continues job. Sometimes a vacation isn't really a vacation. Two sister moms calming, protecting, guiding and directing. All in all it was a grand time and we will treasure the memories all our lives. Thanks Mom and Dad for providing this opportunity! Love you!!
