SPOILED ROTTEN!

Spoiling of Lil'Guy commenced as soon as Nana and Papa got their hands on him. He and Papa had a daily trip to McDonald's for lunch and play time. This we still hear about every time we drive past a McDonald's. "Papa takes me to McDonald's, he takes me inside."

The park and dinosaur museum were also some high lights of Lil'Guy's week. One event topped it all. FISHING!!!! Papa took him fishing and it was quite an adventure. Dre thought the worms were cool but wouldn't touch them until they had been washed off.

Yep Lil'Guy caught a fish but . . .

he would not get close to it!!! So funny!

After a wonderful week of adventure and fun, Lil'Guy was still excited to see his daddy!

We love to see these great men (little and big) together. A HUGE thanks to Nana and Papa for taking the time to spoil and love our Lil'Guy while Hubby and I were off playing in Boston. You are the Best!

Boston you are the only ONE!

Hubby and I have been talking about going away to Boston for years. We thought that 7 1/2 years of marriage was the time to bask ourselves in the beautiful world of Red Sox baseball and the great history of our nation. With Little Guy having the time of his life at Nana and Papa's we began our much anticipated week of adventure. We rented a short term apartment in the Boston area. It had a lot of "personality" and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Our first adventure was a drive to New York City from Boston for a Red Sox game at the new Yankee Stadium. The trip up was so beautiful yet a little rainy. The game was delayed for rain for an hour so we took the time to go through the Yankee Memorial Park. Hey we aren't Yankee fans but we do appreciate talent.

Our second Game was at the infamous Fenway Park. Still rainy but sooooo wonderful. We took a tour of the park before the game. Worth every penny. Great access, great stories.

Our third and final game, we decided to take the bating practice tour. We were able to go down on the field. Yeah Hubby could hardly contain his joy. Then we watched bating practice from the Green Monster. This last game we sat a couple of rows behind the Red Sox dugout. We decided it was the only way to watch a game. OH and the Sox won all three games we went to. Beautiful!

A quick trip to Salem, which is very odd and we do not plan to return during future trips. We hit the Freedom Trail and what a wonderful time we had. The USS Constitution was completely enlightening and another great tour. Bunker Hill Monument was a short walk away and didn't disappoint.

Boston offers so many things to see that we found ourselves trying to get them all in during the little time we had left.

Hubby and I had such an amazing time together. It is safe to say that it won't take another 7 1/2 years to get back to Boston.

The countdown begins!!!!

We had a big trip planned for May. Hubby and I were going to take a five day fun, baseball filled adventure to Boston, Massachusetts. Little Guy was off to Papa and Nana's house to get spoiled rotten. To help Little Guy understand how long till we would be going to Papa's, we made a paper chain. He loved taking off a link every night.

Finally the day came when we arrived at Nana and Papa's house. You can see the joy on his face and I'm pretty sure Papa and Nana were excited too.

Spring time fun

A few fun pictures of Lil'Guy! There is something about laundry baskets. Empty or full he will climb right in.

He has discovered hopscotch.

Lil'Guy has also been working on ridding his bike. He has gotten good. This is of his first peddling job with out Mama or Daddy.

PRIMARY

Yes the time has come for Little Guy to go to his first Primary activity. This activity was all about the PJ'S. These are his favorite, Buzz of course and he had a great time. Came back covered in chocolate. I also had a life long dream fulfilled when he sang in church on Mother's day! Truly a thrill!
